how can i put the web page i designed on the web?
Due to demand, I am beginning to design web pages among other things for my small graphic design company. Clients are pleased with the design on a CD, but are requesting that I actually get the page to their chosen domain, or help them with the process. I am not sure how to go about this. I have looked into Yahoo web hosting, but it seems that you have to create from their template. I am using an art software that publishes the website to pdf. I don’t mind paying for the space, I would just charge the client a little more.
Since you are creating your own websites, you will need to be willing to learn HTML or use one of the WYSIWYG programs like FrontPage or DreamWeaver. You mentioned that your software creates a PDF. That’s great to show what the website would look like for your clients, but at some point it needs to be in HTML for the Web. You’ll also need an ftp program to upload your stuff.
